Make it Happen by Lara Casey
Thomas Nelson, 2014
We’re mixing it up today with a nonfiction book review on the blog! (And it’s a bit late, sorry!)
Lara Casey writes part personal story, part motivational encouragement in Make it Happen. I enjoyed how she made the process of taking the next step into whatever your dream is personal by inserting her own journey into this book.
Make it Happen is an interactive book where your participation is a huge part of making this book work. You don’t just read the chapters, you are asked to take action and do things meant to propel you forward in your leap to make your dream happen.
Throughout the book, readers will find questions and fill-in-the blanks that encourage you to make this book a personal journey. And at the end of the chapters, Lara provides action items to have you further examine your vision and how to get from where you are to where you want to be.
Lara Casey has written a book meant to motivate people who are tired of not following their dreams, and encourages them to pursue their purpose. I would recommend this book to people who have a specific goal in mind, or who want to accomplish something but need a push to get going.
